The Story Behind the Tool

There is a particular pleasure in filling a baking sheet with small shapes.

THE SHAPING RITUAL

The first cookie tests the dough, the next few establish the spacing, and soon a pattern covers the tray. It is a baking task that feels satisfying before anything has reached the oven.

PRESS, LIFT AND REPEAT

The Loafmora Manual Cookie Press is centred on that repeated action. A metal barrel holds a suitable soft dough, and a chosen disc gives each press its shape.

You can keep a whole batch consistent or change discs between portions for variety. The tool invites you to slow down enough to notice the rhythm: press, lift and move to the next space. What follows is a tray to bake, cool and share.

Pressing Shaping Sharing

Thoughtful Details

01 A hand-operated mechanism

The top lever advances the plunger by hand, making each shaping action visible and easy to demonstrate.

02 A metal dough barrel

The cylindrical body holds the prepared dough above the selected disc, with a retaining ring securing the working end.

03 Six shaping choices

The included discs provide two flower patterns, a star, a heart, a striped oval and a ring. They are components of the press.

04 A body that comes apart

Remove the disc, retaining ring and plunger assembly for access when cleaning, following the supplied assembly instructions.

Made for These Moments

01

A tray for afternoon tea

Choose one disc and repeat the same shape across the tray, leaving the spacing your recipe requires.

02

Seasonal baking to share

Change the disc between portions to make a selection of shapes from a compatible cookie-press dough.

03

A small weekend baking project

Prepare the dough first, then make the press-and-lift action the focus of the shaping stage.

How to Use

01

Prepare

Prepare a smooth, soft dough using a recipe specifically intended for a cookie press.

02

Assemble

Fit the chosen disc in the retaining ring and secure it according to the product instructions.

03

Load

Load the barrel and assemble the plunger without forcing an overfilled body.

04

Press

Place the base against a recipe-appropriate baking sheet, press once and lift vertically; test the first shape.

05

Repeat & Clean

Repeat with suitable spacing, then disassemble and clean the tool after finishing.

Size & Fit

The assembled press is approximately 16 × 6 × 25 cm, with a 5.5 cm diameter barrel.

It is intended for compatible soft cookie dough. Coarse inclusions, very stiff dough and recipes requiring piping nozzles call for different tools.

Care for Your Tool

Disassemble after use, wash the food-contact parts by hand with mild detergent and remove residue from the disc openings using a soft brush.

Dry every part before reassembly.

Never force the lever against a blocked disc.

FAQ

Q1. Can I use ordinary chocolate-chip cookie dough?

Use a smooth recipe made for a cookie press. Large chips or other coarse additions can obstruct the disc, and stiff dough may not pass through properly.

Q2. How many discs are included?

Six: five-petal flower, six-petal flower, star, heart, striped oval and ring. No piping nozzles are included.

Q3. Why is the shape not staying on the tray?

Check the dough consistency, the disc assembly and the tray preparation against your recipe. Keep the base in contact with the tray during the press, then lift straight up.

Q4. Can I use it to decorate a cake with frosting?

This version is intended for cookie shaping and has forming discs rather than piping nozzles. Use an appropriate piping tool for frosting decoration.

Q5. Does it need electricity?

No. The lever and plunger operate by hand. Stop and inspect the assembly if the mechanism resists rather than applying more force.
